Zappalà, from a small factory to industry. Our history started in Sicily, on the slopes on Mount Etna. Here, in 1973, a small typical cheese making factory was established.
During 1980's, the small factory became an industrial plant and the small family-run business finally became a real industry.
Since 1986, management is assumed by the current generation business of Zappalà. In few time the Zappalà provides for the supply of all the major retail chains in southern of Italy, developing a strong business presence in this area.
In 1999 starts the business of specializated production with Zappalà arises, before others, the goal to developing a production of typical Sicilian cheeses.
Today, thanks investments made in production facilities of Caltanissetta and Ragusa, it is one of the leader companies in the National dairy landscape.
